She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Josephine and James Rosamond Anderson; her siblings, James Jr., Imogene, Joseph, Anna Louise, Thomas and Eugene; and her husband Owen B. Nelligan.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Burkart, Robbie Burris, Buck Nelligan and Michael Nelligan (Rusty); and her grandchildren, David Burkart, Sherrie Rochester, Lisa Tuggle, Steven Burris, Gustav Nelligan, Victor Nelligan and Ebba Nelligan. She is also survived by 11 greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church (8015 Ballantine Commons Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28277).
