She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Judson Cauthen and Cora Deese. She is survived by: her children, James R. Sims (Rhonda), Margaret Israel (Glenn) and Rebecca Ann Davis (Ed); and her sister Pauline Hancock. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Central Church (5301 Sardis Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sharon Memorial Park (5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212).
