She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas H. Godfrey and Robbie King Godfrey Whisnant; her grandfather Mac; and her brother Thomas H. Godfrey Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Edgar Seeley III; her sons, Edgar Seeley IV of Indian Trail, NC and Shawn Seeley of Goodyear, AZ; her daughter-in-law Jennafer Seeley; her grandchildren, Christina Seeley of Indian Trail and Eddie Seeley V of Indian Trail; and her stepfather Murphy E. Whisnant, Jr. of Charlotte.

Donna Godfrey Seeley went home very peacefully to be with our Lord due to Alzheimer's disease on August 29, 2023.
