She is survived by: her husband Rev. Michael Bassett; her children, Isaac (Nicole), Abigail, Caleb and Lydia; her parents, Violet Hicks of Paigeland, SC and Larry Hartis (Bonnie) of Indian Trail, NC; and her sisters, Anita Hinson (Bill) of Houston, TX, Maria Andes (Greg) of Indian Trail, NC and Amanda McBride (Greg) of Clyo, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
