It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donalene Burris of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Rappe and Daisy Rappe of Charlotte; and also Bobby Rappe of Monroe. She is survived by: her children, Teri Gaston (Steve) of Matthews, Benny Rumfelt (Sandie) of Cornelius and Rainy Westerman of Rock Hill; her grandchildren, Stephanie Baker (Ian) of Charlotte, Derek Rumfelt of Mt. Holly, Kayleigh Barnett (Caleb) of Mathews, Tiffani Gaston of Hawaii, Chapen Sylva of Rock Hill and Annie Westerman of Rock Hill; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Oliver Gaston of Charlotte and Emery Barnett of Matthews.
