Dolores Helms Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Helms of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dolores leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Helms (Bob); her parents, Cecil Sheets and Eunice Sheets; and her siblings, Donald Sheets (Sonny) and Joan Ison.
She is survived by: her children, James Helms Jr. (Bobby) and Janet Helms (Cheri) of Huntersville, NC; her grandchildren, Caitlin Hinson (Eric), Brandy Marquez (Martin) and Kacey Helms; and her niece Kim Burch (Jim). She is also survived by other loving nieces and nephews.
