He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Beaty and Helen Ketchie Beaty; and his sister Carole Beaty. He is survived by: his wife Ann DeNeve Beaty; his children, Alison Johnston and Aaron Kiggins (Jessica); his grandchildren, Cassidy Johnston, Thomas Kiggins, Reece Johnston, Addison Johnston, Elliotte Kiggins and Burke Kiggins of Charlotte, NC.; and his brother George Beaty (Dianne).
