He is survived by: his wife Sally; his son Craig (Kelly); his grandsons, Michael and Brandon; his siblings, Sally Johnson (Tom) and Erik (Sheila); his niece Kerry; his nephews, Erin and Drew; and his cousins, Marilyn, Leah and Kira.

“I am so sorry and was devastated to hear of David's passing. I was a bit ill a few days before the CTEE rehearsal, but I wanted to be there knowing we were preparing for something special for him. We were all saddened at the news that playing that morning was the only way were knew how to express out grief. It was full of beautiful moments. I apologize for not being able to attend the service due to a scheduled trip to see my elderly parents in NJ. With Peace & Love, we miss David greatly.”
