We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 73, Daniel Lee Sweeney of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Beckley, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Harold Sweeney Jr. and Myrtle Frances Brugh Sweeney; his close friend Dora Cook; his sister Judy Sweeney; and his son Johnny Lee Sweeney.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Sweeney and Jeannie Sheppard of Lewisburg; his brothers, Donald Sweeney of Princeton and Michael Sweeney (Ann) of Sweeneysburg; and also, Linda Miszuk (Damian) of Graham, NC and Diane Little (John) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
