Rivers (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Chesterfield, South Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Winston and Laura Ethel Smith Rivers; and his siblings, Gerald, Thomas Rivers, Clara Lisenby, Kola Roscoe, Ruth Gulledge, Sarah Brooks and Vivian Lisenby.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Lib" B. Rivers; his children, Perry Rivers and Ann Coleman (James) of Chesterfield, SC; his grandchildren, Ashley Heringa (Spencer) of Pendleton, SC and Christopher "Chris" L. Deese (Michelle) of Florence, SC; and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Kellan and Karis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
