He is survived by: his wife Brenda J. Simms of Charlotte, N. C.; his stepdaughter Nina Johnson-Travis (Gary) of Anderson, S. C.; his sister Trumiller B. Clark (Clinton, MD); his brothers-in-law, Carnell Johnson and Marvin Ponds (Rochelle) of Charlotte, N. C.; his niece Reverend Donna Simms Pulley (McCoy) of Middlesex, N. C.; and his nephew Reginald Simms (Brendina). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
