It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Lee Outen of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Outen and Wrine Anderson Outen; and his wife Billie. He is survived by: his son Donny; his caregiver Gary Outen (Alma); his daughters, Pat Harris (Don) and Linda; his grandchildren, Chris Outen, John Paul Outen, Nikki Outen, Bryan Harris, Brad Harris and Michelle Whisler; his siblings, Betty O. Taylor and Joel Outen (Ruby); and his caregiver Lucy Gentile. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
