We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2024, at the age of 68, Clyde Gibson Hopper of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Graham Hopper, Jr. and Mary Ellen Davis. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Powell Hopper; his daughters, Katie Walters, Jess Connolly and Caroline Hopper; his sons-in-law, Josh Walters and Nick Connolly; his grandchildren, AnnaJaye Walters, Abigail Walters, Elias Connolly, Abel Walters, Gloriana Connolly, Benjamin Connolly, Asher Walters, Ari Walters, Cannon Connolly, Anthem Walters and Adele Walters; and his siblings, Nathan Hopper (Denise) of Monroe, NC, Melanie Hopper of Landrum, SC and Clark Hopper of Winston-Salem, NC.

In lieu of flowers or food, his family asks that you donate to Bright City Church to establish a men's ministry (https://brightcity.churchcenter.com) in Gibson's honor.
