It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clinton Ward Helms (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Braxton Helms and Madge Melissa Preslar Helms; his son Ricky Clinton Helms; and his grandson Christopher Brian Helms. He is survived by: his wife Helen Louise Austin Helms; and his brothers, Donald Ray Helms (Margaret) of Wingate and Johnny Helms of Charlotte.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Mother's Morning Out Program at First Baptist Church of Locust, 320 S. Central Ave, Locust, NC 28097.
