She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy Howard and Velma Bunch Howard; and her stepdaughter Margaret Morgan Downs. She is survived by: her children, Robbie Anne Warren and Edward B. Warren III; her stepchildren, George Raymond Morgan Jr. and Mary Anne Tankersley; her grandchildren, Mallory Warren, Edward Warren, Allison Morgan, Leslie Morgan Rollins, Ryan Tankersley, Kevin Tankersley and April Tankersley; her great grandchildren, Morgan Rollins, McKinley Rollins, Bella Tankersley, Ryleigh Tankersley, River Tankersley and Lilly Tankersley; and her siblings, William Roy Howard, Jr., Robert Glenn Howard and Lois Howard Foerster.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Park Road Baptist Church (3900 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209).
