He was predeceased by: his parents, James Link and Blythe Andrea Link; and his brother David. He is survived by: his sister Andrea Link; his stepmother Ann Link; and his friends, Team Chris, Dave, Kathy Auger, Sam Smith, JoAnn Anderson, Michelle Martin, Becky Doss and Jeanne Black McCullar.

In lieu of flowers, as Chris loved cats, donations may be sent to The Humane Society of Charlotte or Lake Norman Lucky Cats.
