We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2019, at the age of 86, Charles Ulysses Hayes (Charlotte, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ulysses Hayes Sr. and Vlasta Soucek Hayes; his son Charles Hayes III; and his sister Shirley De Boer. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Lail Hayes; his children, Laurie Hill, David Hayes (Paige), Robert Emery (Pamela) and Elizabeth Eyer (John); his brothers, Norman Hayes (Diane) and James Hayes (Gail); and his great grandchildren, Elise Jones, Hunter Charles Gregory, Samuel, Nathan and Isaac Emery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Avondale Presbyterian Church or Sharon Towers Resident's Assistance Fund.
