It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Sidney Harrell of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruth Roberts and Beemer Harrell; his siblings, Beemer and Jane; his former spouse Prudence Alexander of Statesville; his wife Cathryn; and his sons, Charles Harrell Jr. (Gail) of Peachtree City, GA, Steven Harrell of Reston, VA and Hayden Harrell (Carol) of Charlotte, NC. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A small family service (due to COVID-19 restrictions) will be held on Saturday November 7, 2020 at 1:00 at St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church in Flat Rock, NC.
