She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Antonio Nuñez Hernandez and Maria Dolores Rodriguez Fernandez; her husband Jose Antonio Valdez; her siblings, Juan Aridio Nuñez, Milena Nuñez of Aponte and Carmen Gisela Nuñez; her son Anthony Valdez; her siblings, Juan Antonio Librado Nuñez, Minerva Anatilde Nuñez of Rozo, Basilio Antonio Nuñez and Fidelina Altagracia Castillo of Peña; and her grandparents, Rosalia Fernandez Tineo, Juan Jose Rodriquez Hernandez (Papasito), Rosalia Hernandez Espinal and Baldomero Antonio Nuñez Franco.
She is survived by: her children, Miguelina Hernandez (Miguel Caceres), Alfonso (Lisa Hernandez), Clara Josephine (Pablo Cordero) and Catherine Valdez; her daughter-in-law Catherine Perez Valdez; and her sisters, Rosa Nelia Nuñez of Soto, Zoila Mercedes Nuñez of Taveras and Zoila Miguelina Nuñez of Garcia. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to continue her legacy of helping indigent families in the Dominican Republic would be appreciated.
