We bid farewell to Carol Smith of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Salisbury, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Marshall E. Smith Sr.; and her son Michael T. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Deborah and Marshall (Aquaria); her grandchildren, Kai Richardson, Marshall Renard and Hunter; her sisters, Sandra Walker and Brenda L.; and her nieces and nephews, Donna Meisenheimer (Lamont), Michelle Walker, Larry D. Thompson Jr. (Sophia) and Gary Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church-West (1801 Oaklawn Ave, Charlotte, NC 28216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
