She was predeceased by: her parents, James Doyle Dowdle and Lib Dowdle; and her brothers, Michael Lemmons and Gary Lemmons. She is survived by: her husband David Lane Jr.; her daughters, Jenna Lane of Charlotte and Paige Lane of Charlotte; her siblings, Dale Dowdle (Crystal) of Gastonia, Doug Dowdle (April) of Powhatan, Buddy Lemmons of Charlotte, Tommy Dowdle of Charlotte and Kim Rich of Bryson City; and her sister-in-law Rebecca Sherlin of Mount Holly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
