It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmelita L. Jackson of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Crabtree, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas J. McGrath and Anna C. McGrath (Zuzik); her husband Regis E. Jackson; and her siblings, Kathleen Elizabeth Wilkins, Mary Jane McGrath and Thomas Patrick McGrath.
She is survived by: her children, Faith Jane Petho (Douglas Allen), Thomas Frederick Jackson (Pamela Jo), David Edward Jackson (Beth Ann) and Cynthia L. Henry (Earl J.); her grandchildren, Thomas Jackson (Kayla), Hillary Chelednik (Craig), Rylee Jackson, Madelyn Petho and Macey Petho; her great grandchild Clara; and her siblings, Kevin Brian McGrath (Regina) and Patricia Ann Sima. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
