She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Nichols and Pearl Nichols; and her husband Leonard Pope. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Pope (Nancy) of Oak Island and Patricia Blythe of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Gwen, Glenda and Robby; and her great grandchildren, Chris, Hal, Renee, Christian and Josh. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sharon Memorial Park (5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212).
