It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Casey Herring in Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Herring and Sally Herring. He is survived by: his daughters, Anne Herring Neilson (Clark) and Elizabeth Herring Bowen (Bill); his stepson Thomas Brand McCarley (Marcy); his grandchildren, Blakely Neilson, Catherine Neilson, Taylor Neilson, Ford Neilson, Casey Bowen, Gus Bowen, Andrew Bowen (Emory) and Kaseleigh McCarley; his sister Becky Laverty (Roger); and his close friend Ali Register.
