She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barnes and Geneva Hill; her husband Alvester Campbell; her children, Tara Quicksey, Steve Barnes and Jeffery Wheeler; and her siblings, James Barnes, Jr., Willie Mae Hill, Roger Barnes and Maggie Stitt.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Barnes (Sheila), Phillip Barnes (Beatrice), Harriett Barnes and Natalie Wheeler; and her sister Rose Montgomery. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
