She was predeceased by: her parents, Winifred Toombs and Charles Henry Toombs; and her siblings, Amy "Betty" Wakefield and Gerald Toombs. She is survived by: her husband John Busto; her daughters, Justine Busto (Jarod Brown) of Charlotte and Elaine Smith (Brian) of Fayetteville, NC.; her nephews, Laurie Wakefield (Monica) and David Wakefield (Loreen); her niece Diana Hoffer (Lanny); and her pet Molly.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte.

“I am so sorry for your loss. I was saddened to learn of her passing. We all called her by "Busto" at Blackhawk and I grew to love her very much. Justine and Elaine she loved you so much, and spoke of you often. I was a spunky 28-year-old when she was in her late 50's so I gave her hell most of the time but then I would catch her grinning. She would say, "Now Juli!. Always a prim and proper lady, she set a good example for all of us. We lost a good one. Stay well. Juli Treadway”
