She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie Lee Henderson and Helen Moultrie Henderson; and her sisters, Cathy Henderson, Catherine Henderson, Cynthia Henderson and Patricia Henderson.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara R. Henderson of Charlotte, NC, Jvonne Henderson of Charlotte, NC, Dr. Boris Henderson (Tiara) of Huntersville, NC, Donnell Henderson (Tiffany) of Charlotte, NC and Ronnell Henderson (Melanie) of Rockhill, SC; and her sisters, Jacquline Verdell of Charlotte, NC and Carol Chisholm (Carlos) of Charlotte, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Baptist Church (1401 Allen St, Charlotte, NC 28205). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
