With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur Short of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on May 21, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Short and Pearlie Ritchie Short; and his brother Blaine Short. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Skaggs Short; his children, Karen Borders (James) of Georgetown, KY and Scott Short (Shannon) of Paris, KY; his grandchildren, Allie Saker (Jordan), Austin Short, Brandon Wilburn, Ryan Short (Haley), Chloe Swartz, Gracie Short and Damien Short; his stepgrandchildren, Mikah Micallef, Kenzie Daniel (Joe), Alyson Swartz, Jason Borders (Elizabeth), Kabby Borders and Michael Matthews; his great grandchildren, KJ, Isaiah, Luke, Jonah and Shea; and his brothers, Hershel Short and Robert Short (Sue).
