She was predeceased by: her husband Nick; her grandson Nicholas P. Copsis; her parents, Paraskevi Markos (Spiros Markos) and Spiros Markos; and her siblings, Leo Markos and Helen Antone.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Peter Copsis (Pam) and Maria Copsis Tassopoulos (Tim); her siblings-in-law, John Antone and Haido Copsis; her grandchildren, Luke Tassopoulos, Nicholas Tassopoulos, Anthea Copsis and Vasili Copsis; her godchildren, Johnny G Couchell, Kiki Karres, John L. Maheras, Theofani Nixon and Patty Robinson; and her close friend Kara O'Brien. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church (5108 Kuykendall Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church (5108 Kuykendall Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270). A committal service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:40 PM at the Evergreen City Cemetery (4426 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205).
