She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Hook and Louella Van Hook; her sister Rose Marie Ramsour; her stepmother Annie Lee Van Hook; and her husband Luther C. Clemmons Sr..
She is survived by: her aunt Norma; her children, Luther Clyde Jr., Van Fitzgerald and Pamela Ann; her grandchildren, Jai Clemmons, Darius Lamar Corry (Cicely), Lorenzo LaFayette Alexander, Lawrence "Larry" Adams, Conor Clemmons and Jennifer Clemmons; her great grandchildren, Chayton Moton Alexander, Jacy Bengoechea Alexander and Haven Lamar Corry; her close friend Barbara Hewlett; and her family, Darrell, Vicky, Kia and Terrance.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the A. E. Grier & Sons (2310 Statesville Ave, Charlotte, NC 28206).
