It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alesha Hendrick Gainey (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2018, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John L. Hendrick; her sisters, Jennifer M. Hendrick and Kimberly P. Hendrick; her grandparents, James A. Hayes Jr., Joseph R. Hendrick Jr. and Mary T. Hendrick; and her cousin Joseph R. "Ricky" Hendrick IV.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph M. "Mike" Gainey; her children, Jocelyn Grace and Joseph "Joe" Michael; her grandmother Selma J. Hayes; her children, Hendrick Companies and Monroe Road; and also, Jocelyn and Joe.
