She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Elizabeth Heath Vaughn and Walter Vaughn, Sr.; and her husband James Wilbert Swinson. She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn E. Burgess; her grandson Leon Vaughn; and her great grandchild Tiffany Vaughn.
