He is survived by: his children, Gene Earnhardt, III (Jane) of Dallas, NC and Deatra Earnhardt Johnson (Earl) of Burlington, NC; his grandchildren, Mike Johnson (Lisa) of Gibsonville, NC, Ginger Bruce (Michael) of Gastonia, NC, Gina Belcher (Chad) of Stanley, NC and Jake Earnhardt of Charlotte, NC; and his great grandchildren, Katie Bruce, Sarah Bruce, Brenna Belcher, Tucker Belcher, RJ Earnhardt and Chase Earnhardt.
