He is survived by: his mother Rebecca Kirkland; his children, Giselle and Brandon Kirkland of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Tanatilie Kirkland of Charlotte, NC, Melinda, Chamelle, Ramone Drayton of High Point, NC and Twyla Gathings of Winston Salem, NC.; and his close friend Lakesia Christian. He is also survived by numerous relatives and close friends.
