He is survived by: his wife LeAndra Barnes of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Dravia Marchet Barnes and Davontay Barnes; his children, Geanelle, Kaily, Raven Barnes, Treyvon of Charlotte, NC., Aaron IV of Charlotte, NC. and Antwan Barnes of Charlotte, NC.; his grandchildren, Wisdom, Knowledge, D'Andre, Isaiah, Me'lah, Kaleb and Ma'lanii; and his nieces and nephews, Nariah, Yasmine, Chloe, Kingston, Ayden and Asher. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Weeping Willow AME Zion Church (2220 Milton Rd, Charlotte, NC 28215). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
