He is survived by: his wife Nadine Adams Bowden; his son Mike (Debbie) of Pittsboro; his grandsons, Steve (Darby) of Bluffton, SC and Tim of Chapel Hill; and his siblings, Don (Katie) of Burlington, NC and Jeanne Roberson of Graham, NC.. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, his family, his many friends.
