We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2023, at the age of 79, Tony Bryant Dail (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), born in Carrboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Dail and Hazel Dail; his parents-in-law, Alice Stone and Cecil Stone; and his brothers-in-law, Carl Stone and Tommy Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Casanta Dail; his children, Keith Dail and Kimberly Wood (Josh Wood); his siblings-in-law, Linda Casanta Roberts and Steve Stone (Debbie); his sister Susan Dail; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Dail, Jonah Wood (Taylor Wood), Tanner Dail, Jackson Wood, Jake Wood and Judson Wood; and his friends, Jimmy Freeland, Gene Lloyd, Sandy Lloyd, Geary Blackwood and Johnny Squires. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail Benevolence Fund or to UNC Hospice.
