He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Herron (Duckett); his daughter Nicole Herron Young (Scott); his grandchildren, Addie Brannon "Ailin" Galloway, Mary Emerson "Emmie" Galloway and John Thomas "JT" Young; his siblings, Carol Hoover and Terry Herron (Holly); and his siblings-in-law, Laura El-Shenawy (Sherif), Debbie Renzi, Becky Samler (Ken), Suzanne Abercrombie and Joseph Duckett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
