He was predeceased by: his parents, Justino and Joanita. He is survived by: his children, Marisa D'Silva Whitesell (Chapel Hill), Karena D'Silva (Chapel Hill), Carl D'Silva, Walker, Blake and Marc D'Silva; his grandchildren, Blaise, Romy and Carmen Whitesell; his children, Caia and Eva D'Silva; and his siblings, Oliver D'Silva and Jessie Saldanha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
