It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Baker of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Teresa Baker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Billy R. Whittle. She is survived by: her mother Gerry Whittle Davis of Aberdeen, NC.; her husband Ricky J. Baker; her sons, James Zalascek (Jennifer) and Jordan Ratcliff (Graham); her stepchildren, Jeremy Baker (Cambridge) and Ciara Marlow (Tyson); her sisters, Debbie W. Lobo (Luis) and Tammy W. Parsons (Darrell); and her grandchildren, Luke, Rhyatt Zalascek, Piper, Emmett Baker and Dawson Marlow.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cane Creek Baptist Church (6901 Orange Grove Rd, Hillsborough, NC 27278). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to a Sam's Wish Fund at Kids Path of Hospice-Authoracare, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or the Orange Grove Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary at 6800 Orange Grove Road, Hillsborough, NC 27278.
