She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Quail and Helen Peppard Quail; and her daughter Caroline Meyer. She is survived by: her husband Philip Meyer of Chapel Hill; her grandchildren, Rachel Nelms, Amanda Niederauer Lukof, Jordan, Olivia Meyer-Massey, Sophia, Chloe Lucente, Izzy and Theo Salazar; her great grandchildren, Max, Molly and Micah Matthews; her pet Lucy; and also Evelyn Buie.
