We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Shirley Anne Thissen of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, born in Jefferson, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Thissen; her daughter Jane; and her parents, James Conroy and Anna Conroy (Kleemeier). She is survived by: her children, David Thissen (Rita), Mary Thissen-Milder (Sue), Julia Daum (Eric) and John Thissen (Yulia). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to a Charity of one's choice in memory of Shirley.
