We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2025, at the age of 63, Sharon Lorraine Pickett in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, born in Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Turgeon and Charles McKenney; and her siblings, Joseph McKenney, Charles "Bear" McKenney II, Rita Moore and Susan Higgins.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Pickett; her daughters, Samantha Moore (Andre) and Candice Gurley; her siblings, Teresa Shupe (Randy) and David McKenney (Patricia); and her close friends, Catherine Revels and Yolonda Spriggs.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service (4500 US-264, Washington, NC 27889).
