It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Appley of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on July 8, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Abner; and her siblings, Edgar Bondy (Rivka), Ruth Melchet (Asher), Alice Jaffe and Ruben Bondy.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. J. Ross Macdonald; her children, Noah (Naresia Pauly) and Elizabeth; her son-in-law Sandy Epstein; her grandsons, Benjamin and Joseph; and her daughter-in-law Danielle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
