It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ann Sanders of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Edna Nesbit Beal and Robert Murray Beal. She is survived by: her husband John L. Sanders; her children, Tracy Elizabeth Sanders Justus (late Thomas Justus), Jane Nesbit Sanders (late Howard Goldstein) and William Hardy Sanders (Emma Jackson-Sanders); and her grandson Hugh Francis Goldstein.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the NC State Capitol Foundation.
