He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Strassle and Irene Strassle (Green); his former wife Suzanne Carter Strassle; and his sister Judy Strassle James. He is survived by: his wife Sara Brooks Strassle; his children, Karen Elizabeth Skoglund (John) and Ryan Gilbert Strassle; his stepdaughters, Rachel Catherine Campbell (Chris) and Anna Brooks Creagh (Theo Slater); his grandchildren, Devin and Gwyneth Skoglund; his stepgrandchildren, Adam and Catherine Campbell; and his sister Susan Strassle McPherson.
