He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Bernard Heavlin and Paul Arndt Loth; his former wife Elvia Yolanda Heavlin; his daughter Lisa Ann Heavlin; and his siblings, William Burns, Harry C. Burns Sr., Frank Burns, Paul Loth, Anna May Morgan (Burns) and Felice Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Yoli Heavlin; his children, Jorge Lee Heavlin (Heather), Lauralee Heavlin Long and Johanna M. Heavlin-Martinez (Andrew); his grandchildren, Leanna Elise Long, Rachel Heavlin, Kehl Heavlin, Jeremy Heavlin-Martinez (Tessa) and Shawn Heavlin-Martinez (Summaya); his great grandchild Sagan Heavlin-Martinez; his brother Ivan Gehman III; and his uncle Donald F. Loth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.
