She was predeceased by: her parents, John Salter and Catherine Salter. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Blair Keagy; her children, Matt (Christy) and Kristin (Rusty); her grandchildren, Jordan, Jeffrey, Connor and Anna; and her siblings, Suzanne, Virginia, John and Barbara. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of gifts or flowers, friends honor Kathy's legacy of caregiving by contributing to Dr. Salter's Fund for Children administered by Triangle Community Foundation.
