She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael Kendall; her children, Chris (John Heaney) of New York City and Charles of Carrboro; the father of her children Lloyd Noland; her sister Inge (Lee Bacon) of Sturgeon Bay; her nephew John Bacon (Sara) of Sturgeon Bay; her great-nephew Henry; her great-niece Sofie Mae; and her parents, John Alverson and Gabriele Alverson. She was also cherished by her parents, her sister and family, and her children.
Karin asked that those wishing to make a contribution in her memory consider a local food bank, or any local organization that supports those in need.
