She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Church and Zella Arlene Church; her husband Bruce Alexander Suttles Sr.; and her son Anthony Thompson Smith. She is survived by: her son James Roswell Smith (Cheryl); her stepchildren, Guisu Suttles (Michael Bell) and Bruce Alexander Suttles Jr.; her grandchildren, Madeline Smith and Jasper Smith; and her brother Byron Church.
